Welcome IFIA Members,
The IFIA is a leader in Fire Prevention activities throughout the State of Illinois, and is recognized by several national organizations.
It is comprised of local fire departments, businesses, and individuals from throughout the State with the common interest of saving lives and property. The IFIA strives to accomplish this by being active in Code Enforcement, Fire and Life Safety Education, Fire Investigation, and Legislation.
We encourage you to join us in this effort by simply becoming a member. Members receive reduced tuitions for conferences, seminars, and monthly training sessions. Members are also encouraged to become active in the Organization by sitting on IFIA Committees. Committees are active in organizing educational opportunities, conferences, code enforcement classes, and social events. Participation is greatly encouraged, and the time commitments are minimal.
